REGISTER TO VOTE OR GET MAIL-IN BALLOT FOR FEB 5 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY

Good News! This year your vote here in California really matters! By moving up our Presidential Primary to February 5th, California is finally weighing in before other states determine our nominee. Make sure you are ready to exercise your right to vote in the Republican Presidential Primary on February 5th. Note the key dates and tools to help you do just that!

- You must be registered as a Republican by Tuesday, January 22nd.  DEADLINE HAS PASSED
To change your Party affiiliation to Republican, you need to complete a Voter Registration form and return it to the Registrar of Voters. To download a Registration form and instructions here, go to the Registrar's site at www.scvote.org.  Our Republican HQ can also supply forms, please call us with your full mailing address prior to January 17th (408-246-6600). You can also visit the Registrar's office in San Jose to register, at 1555 Berger Drive - Bldg 2, San Jose, near intersection of 880 and 101 (off Gish Road exit of 880).If you are uncertain of your status, call the Registrar at 408-299-8683.
- You have until Tuesday, January 29th to submit a request to Vote By Mail. Applications were included in Sample Ballots recently sent by the Registrar. Or, you can download a Vote By Mail application from the Registrar of Voters website at www.sccvote.org. Our Republican headquarters can also mail you a form - please call us prior to January 24th at 408-246-6600 and leave your full mailing address information.
- If you did not receive a Sample Ballot from the Registrar, please contact them to ensure that you are registered at your current address (408-299-8683).
- FIND Your Polling Place on the  www.sccvote.org site. This is an interactive tool to locate your polling location for Election Day.
- On Election Day, February 5th, if you encounter any problems at your polling location, insist on casting a "provisional ballot", and your vote will be verified and counted prior to final certification of voting results.
